"Family Guy", the subversive and hilarious FOX animated comedy that was twice cancelled and then returned to the airwaves by popular demand, has once again broken new ground; it serves as the inspiration for an entirely original series of artwork, its Exclusive European Showing at The Animation Art Gallery.
A stunning Collection of Interpretive Work Inspired by "Family Guy," the first Pop Surrealist exhibition of works inspired by a television series and the chance to buy Original Drawings and Limited Editions from the show, from as little as £40! This is a stunning interpretation by Diana Peason.
Diana Pearson is a fine artist as well as editorial photographer born in sunny San Diego, CA. Unlike most of her friends, she spent the majority of her childhood watching horror movies, studying fashion magazines and performing in theatre rather than frolicking at the beach. Her fine art photographic and multi-media work is heavily influenced by her childhood pastimes, dealing much with the uncanny; exploring the lines between the beautiful and the unsettling, the real and the staged. Diana received her BFA from Otis College of Art and Design in Fine Art with an emphasis in Photography. Upon graduating she began work as a photo editor and retouch artist for NBC. She has since stayed within the studio world as well as balancing her fine art and freelance work.
The Animation Art Gallery is hosting the Exhibition during the month of April 2007. Make sure you come in and see us! |
