"Family Guy", the subversive and hilarious FOX animated comedy that was twice cancelled and then returned to the airwaves by popular demand, has once again broken new ground; it serves as the inspiration for an entirely original series of artwork, its Exclusive European Showing at The Animation Art Gallery.
A stunning Collection of Interpretive Work Inspired by "Family Guy," the first Pop Surrealist exhibition of works inspired by a television series and the chance to buy Original Drawings and Limited Editions from the show, from as little as £40!
This interpretation by Luke Chueh is fantastic.
The only son of two talented artists, Joe Vaux learned the joys of creation at an early age. He has been honing his skills for the past 15 years - first receiving a BFA from Syracuse and then working with the many wonderfully creative folks of the animatino world. Joe has worked on everything from Spawn to Harold and the Purple Crayon to his current position on Family Guy. Although he has always been pursuing his own projects, he has only been showing his work for the past six years. Joes' work is truly imaginative. He is able to create entire worlds around the simplest of things. The worlds he creates are dark, but playful at the same time. You can look over and over at his paintings and still find new inhabitants. Joe's work has appeared in many galleries on the West Coast.
The Animation Art Gallery is hosting the Exhibition during the month of April 2007. Make sure you come in and see us! |
