This individually numbered piece created using original character designs from Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 3 features Sheriff Woody complete with character statistics and a reference color key.

What is a Character Key?
An old-time traditional animator's term, a "Key" is a thumbnail of a character or a background element with color reference. Character Keys are composed of a cel layer floated over a lithographic background.  The cel features a color rendition of the character while the background features sketches and color reference.   Each character key comes matted with a title tag and a certificate of authenticity.  Matted measurements are 8 inches by 6 inches.

The process of Animation is often a collaborative effort. The evidence of this can often be seen in the long credits at the end of most animated shorts and films.

Whilst only the most talented and skilled artisans would be employed by the studios, it is often difficult to attribute the corresponding artist to the exact piece of artwork we offer.

We therefore credit this artwork as being created by a Studio Artist, acknowledging their skill and talent bringing joy to collectors around the world.

Pixar Studios are without a doubt one of the most iconic production companies of our time. Pixar has displayed unrivalled innovation, creativity and talent since it's first feature-length release Toy Story back in 1995. 

Since then we've been spolied with extraordinary film after extraordinary film, jam-packed with stunning animation, captivating storytelling and characters you just can't help but fall in love with.

Our only complaint? It's a heart-breaking wait between releases! In those times we have to remember what the toy restoration expert tells the impatient toy collector Al in Toy Story 2 ... "you can't rush art".
