The Animation Art Gallery has recently aquired these gorgeous hand-painted original backgrounds from the Nickelodeon classic The Ren and Stimpy Show. Each background is a one-of and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The Ren and Stimpy Show was an American cartoon made for Nickelodeon, created by John Kricfalusi. The programme follows the nonsensical adventures of the Ren Höek, a neurotic chihuahua, and Stimpson J. Cat,a simpleminded manx cat.
