2011 is the 40th Anniversary of the Mr Men and Little Miss, and we've been the ambassadors and curator of the official Art Programme for over 7 years now. It's something we love, and get so excited when we release something new. 

Adam Hargreaves, son of creator Roger Hargreaves, has given us unprecedented access to the family's photographic archives and has allowed us to include a wonderful unseen photograph of Roger Hargreaves. The image was black and white, but using some help from Mr Impossible, we're delighted to present him in glorious colour! 

 To add to the authenticity of this wonderful showpiece, we've insisted on representing each character in their vintage marker pen glory. The result is Stunning! There really is so much to look at and enjoy. To make it even easier to know who and where everyone is, we’ve included a full character key on the Certificate of Authenticity. 

Finally, each piece is hand signed and dated by Adam Hargreaves, and embossed with our Seal of Authenticity. 

Charles Roger Hargreaves (9 May 1935 – 11 September 1988) was an English author and illustrator of children's books, notably the Mr. Men and Little Miss series, intended for very young readers. He is Britain's third best-selling author, having sold more than 100 million books.

Hargreaves’s first Mr. Men book came when his son asked him what a tickle is, leading to the creation of Mr. Tickle in 1971. Since, Hargreaves has produced 46 Mr. Men books and 33 Little Miss books, including Mr. Bump, Mr. Uppity, and Little Miss Sunshine.

Roger passed away in 1988, but his son Adam continued writing and drawing Mr. Men and Little Miss characters with new stories.
