John Tracy is the custodian of Thunderbird 5, the space station.

Thunderbirds is a British mid-1960s science fiction television show devised by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and made by AP Films using a form of marionette puppetry dubbed "Supermarionation". The series followed the adventures of International Rescue, a secretive organisation created to help those in grave danger using technically advanced equipment and machinery launched from its hidden Tracy Island base. The series focused on the head of the organisation, ex-astronaut Jeff Tracy, and his five sons who piloted the "Thunderbird" machines. Its London agent, Lady Penelope, also featured as a frequent guest-star.

The process of Animation is often a collaborative effort. The evidence of this can often be seen in the long credits at the end of most animated shorts and films.

Whilst only the most talented and skilled artisans would be employed by the studios, it is often difficult to attribute the corresponding artist to the exact piece of artwork we offer.

We therefore credit this artwork as being created by a Studio Artist, acknowledging their skill and talent bringing joy to collectors around the world.

We had the pleasure of knowing Gerry Anderson, regularly meeting up in his office in Pinewood, for him to sign our limited edition prints and posters. Over time we'd hear snippets and memories of his time creating some of the most memorable icons in film and television, and hear his excitement at new developments for his creations we all grew up with. We held some awesome events in our London gallery with his voice talents and the puppeteers of the series, and have sold our editions to many fans and collectors, young and old, who will miss the man who brought us so much and made us dream.
