C'mom Mr J, this ain't no place for a genius like you" This hand painted cel was inspired by a climactic scene from the Batman: The Animated Series episode, titled "Mad Love", explaining how psychologist Harleen Quinzelle became the Joker's number one hench gal Harley Quinn. Mad Love was originally a comic book by Bruce Timm & Paul Dini (creators of BTAS) that became one of DC's most successful releases ever!, This edition has been signed by both Timm & Dini! Originally released in 1999 this piece quickly sold out and is now an extremely rare find, a real must for true Bat-fans! This piece will only be availble at the price of £950 until Friday 15th September when it will increase to £1200. Harley Quinn first appeared in the Batman: The Animated Series episode "Joker's Favor" (episode #22, original airdate: September 11, 1992), where she served as a humorous female sidekick and on-again, off-again girlfriend to the Joker. In her first appearances she was depicted as completely devoted to the Joker, totally oblivious to what a psychopathic monster he truly is; a characterization that has remained more or less consistent throughout her subsequent appearances. | ||
