"Family Guy", the subversive and hilarious FOX animated comedy that was twice cancelled and then returned to the airwaves by popular demand, has once again broken new ground; it serves as the inspiration for an entirely original series of artwork, its Exclusive European Showing at The Animation Art Gallery.
A stunning Collection of Interpretive Work Inspired by "Family Guy," the first Pop Surrealist exhibition of works inspired by a television series and the chance to buy Original Drawings and Limited Editions from the show, from as little as £40!
This interpretation by Yoskay Yamamoto is magnificent.
Born in the Land of the Rising Sun, Yamamoto spent his youth idolizing Japanese graphic novels and playing endless hours of Lego Blocks. In 1997, he moved to Santa Barbara, CA to experience the Western culture and study abroad - experimenting with various art forms, from Ukiyo-e to Graffiti, Picasso to Twist. Recently he moved to San Francisco, where he paints and lives as a starving student artist.
The Animation Art Gallery is hosting the Exhibition during the month of April 2007. Make sure you come in and see us! |
