Django Tango

Hi everyone ...

Well I thought it would be cool to let you all see some of the work put in by one of my junior Saturday students...

Django is a 10 year old boy with a great sense of comic timing, a huge imagination, and a LOT of passion for cartoons and animation.

He is constantly coming up with new ideas and gags - so much so, that we have problems containing all his ideas!

Working with Django has been all about "s-l-o-w-ing him down"

His mind is an explosion of ideas and concepts, humor and wild stories, a bit like a Seuss, Cat in the Hat-type-fun mess. So, its been

up to me to direct and tidy up those ideas into one or two good ones.

It was a challenge to Django, kind of like going from making mud pies to baking a jam tart... both are satisfying, both are fun to eat, but only one makes you want to eat more...

Below is an example of how he took the challenge presented to him and met it head on. Working hard to create, what for a ten year old, is

an EXCEPTIONAL strip.
