Bagpuss is a well loved 1974 UK children’s television series created by Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate, with their company Smallfilms. The series was produced using stop-frame animation with an actual cloth cat. Amongst it’s recognitions, Bagpuss was awarded the first place spot in a BBC poll selecting the nation’s favourite children’s show in 1999.
