A rare drawing from the Filmation Associates series The Lone Ranger. This being the Filmation version premiered in 1980 as part of the Tarzan/Lone Ranger Hour with William Conrad providing the voice of the Lone Ranger, although he was billed as William Darnoc (read it backwards). Because violence was pretty much outlawed on Saturday mornings when this show premiered, Filmation writers had to figure out ways for the Lone Ranger to avoid shooting people. In most instances, he shot at inanimate objects which would then somehow slow the crooks down. | ||
